Online Tutoring Terms and Conditions

Booking & Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure the session.
• Lessons are delivered online via Microsoft Teams (or another agreed platform).
• We will make contact before the first session to agree what will be covered.
• I may require some student work/examples before the first session.
• A confirmation email will be sent once your booking is complete.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice may be rearranged at no additional cost, subject to availability.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable.
• Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will be treated as a missed appointment and is non-refundable.

Late Arrival

• If a student joins late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time.
• If I need to cancel or rearrange a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative session or full refund will be offered.

Student Responsibility

• Students should attend lessons with any requested materials and a reliable internet connection.
• To make the most of tutoring, students are encouraged to complete any optional independent work between sessions.

Safeguarding

• For students under 18, a parent or guardian must provide consent before tutoring begins and remain contactable during the lesson.
• Lessons are delivered in a professional and respectful environment at all times and I reserve the right to end a session if I feel this is not being met to a high standard with no refund.

Academic Integrity

• Tutoring is designed to develop students' understanding, confidence and independent skills. Work completed during lessons should represent the student's own learning.

Results

• Every effort is made to support students in achieving their potential; however, specific grades or examination outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
