Simply ask students to write their answer. Then give them a sticker each alongside the academic phrasing prompt. Students improve their response choosing academic phrases of their choice, changing colour when they make an improvement... instant progress! I have so many students ask for this resource sheet because they know they need to 'sound better' but need sentence stems to help it stick.
