Whole Class Feedback can save you hours of precious time. This simple template style enables you to identify common misconceptions, common SPAG corrections, space for students' initials and praise-worthy opportunities and most importantly, next steps for a feed-forward task.
Use this resource like so:
Random sample the books/work that you are marking and keep going until you get a common misconception or a common 'lacking' feature
Hand write the EBIs and WWWs and come up with some diagnosis next step steps in the final box
Photocopy your master copy for each student
Student sticks in their copy and highlights which feedback applies to them (you could use codes in their book or stickers to be super explicit but most only need this sheet)
Student acts on their feedback - they could have numbers and they can select a couple or you could tell students which number they have to do.
