When you make reference to a text, you pick out a quotation to back up your opinion. To level up this skill, imagine every word is competing in a ‘race’. Don't treat all words equally: some words are simply taking part, while others are leading the way in proving your opinion. Now the beauty of English, is the fact that not everyone will pick the same word and that’s okay - you can all be right but it’s all in your explanation why. Bonus points: layer more than one word.
